with the ABA Kentucky Colonels, earning MVP and Rookie of the Year honors that season. The

Boston averaging 17.1 ppg and 10.1 rpg over his career. He holds the highest NCAA career
rebounding average (22.7 rpg). |
Otis Birdsong

As a record setter at the University of Houston for steals, assists, field goals and
career points, Otis earned the title of Southwest Conference Player of the Decade for the
70's and saw his number "10" retired in 1997. While in the NBA he played for the
Kansas City Kings, New Jersey Nets and Boston Celtics. He was a four-time NBA all-star and

players to achieve that feat. The San Antonio resident was named to All-NBA First Team
five straight seasons (1978-82) and set the NBA record for most points in a quarter with

Award, Bobby was also a member of the All-Defensive First Team for 10 consecutive years
and played on the NBA World Championship Team with the Philadelphia 76ers in 1983. |

straight NBA All-Star games (1971-77) and led the United States to a Gold Medal at the
1968 Olympics in Mexico City. JoJo was drafted in the first round by the Boston Celtics,
